How does a phone menu work?

A choice menu is a set of options that callers hear after dialing a service number, with callers making a selection by using the phone's keys. An example is; "Key 1 for questions about your subscription, key 2 for payments" and so on.

When the caller then types in a number on the phone, our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system recognises it and automatically transfers the call to the right department or employee.
